[HacktionLab] events & gatherings for 2010

Hi there,

I know it seems early, being that the snow has only just disappeared and
threatens to be back, but I'm starting to think about events and
gatherings for this year.  Here's a list I made:

1.  Urban Gathering in Feb/Mar - back in Bradford we discussed having
another small-scale meet-up down south in an urban setting prior to the
main gathering in June.  We'd be up for sorting something in Oxford, but
it would need to be small-scale and we may need some money to hire
somewhere.

2.  Main HacktionLab - I reckon we ought to get setting a date, agreeing
a location and then getting some initial flyers/postings out about it,
probably by the end of February.  If we follow the last two years then
it will be the 12th & 13th June at Highbury Farm.  Any reason to change
the location?  Shall we bring the dates forward?  There was some concern
with the closeness to Glastonbury last year....

I know that gdm was up for sorting the programme, and I'm up for sorting
overall logistics.  If we had a couple of others to take on catering,
the bar and marketing & comms, then I reckon we'd have a solid team for
it.  Any takers?

3.  And then there's Glastonbury....  23rd to 27th June ... I'm up for
doing something there....
