I guess it would be good to have a chapter for Mobile Phone security
which deals with these software solutions.

There is a lot which could be covered - but maybe just dealing with text
SMS based stuff might be better than trying to take on the whole deal of
VOIP etc - although having said that letting people know how to set up a
vpn on an android phone might be nice.
