On Friday the 23rd September Ethical Consumer is inviting interested
organisations and individuals to a free conference to discuss ideas
around keeping corporates accountable using web tools.

We thought you might like to attend.

The afternoon of talks and discussions is entitled "Collecting Social,
Ethical and Environmental Data on Companies and Products - the Potential
for Civil Society Co-operation"

The conference will cover:

Collecting information on global businesses in fast-moving markets.
How do new technologies and co-operative values affect this?
What global collaborations have been attempted already?
    How successful have they been?

Speakers include Ed Mayo (General Secretary, Co-operatives UK), Paul
Roeland (Clean Clothes Netherlands)and Danielle McMullan (Business &
Human Rights Resource Centre)

This promises to be a really interesting event. There is clearly a lot
of enthusiasm for greater collaboration between people and organisations
to help ensure that civil society keeps big corporates in check.

Please see below for a full list of speakers and more information

Yours

Tim Hunt
