On green issues I've been looking at renewable, low emissions or offset
(tree planting and NOT carbon trading) hosting, I came across
http://www.thegreenwebfoundation.org/ which offers a firefox plugin to
rate hosts.

I'm not sure how reliable the outfit is but I'm trying to contact some
academics involved as they were presenting at a 2008 conf in Leuphana
Germany, at the Uni Mute is collaborating with
http://www.enviroinfo2008.org/index.php

Im carrying out this work to try and get some eco-hosting sorted.

Cheers

Simon
