A few things I knew about but a couple of handy apps:

Particularly like Obscuracam - This is a must have for people wanting  
to photograph at protests and upload on the fly, it allows the user to  
take a photo on their device and redact or pixelate faces before  
uploading or tranferring. This tool is still in the development so it  
doesn't always detect faces, but this can be corrected manually. [work  
is also in progress for video face detection.]
