Hi Tom

I can see a lot stronger case for Aptivate putting in a proposal
compared to HacktionLab (I work as an institutional fundraiser for
Oxfam (although mostly on UK funding), so I know a bit about what I'm
talking about - doesn’t mean I'm right)

Given the current structure of HacktionLab, I'd be very opposed to an
application. It would probably kill the group. But other groups
involved with HL might be more plausible candidates.

On the ethics on fundraising and dirty money, well I'm no angel. And
anybody that has claimed to find a clean source of money clearly
doesn't understand capitalism.
