Basing this on our modernballots.com election, we have the following result:

"Nerd Gag" is winner:

Was prefered by 5vs3 over "Jargon Throttle"
Was prefered by 7vs2 over "Geek Gag"
Was in equal preference with the generally unpopular "Techno Block"

Write in candidates where:

Language Lout
Obfuscation Muzzle
Prattle scuttle
tekno bloc
Ball gag

But did not achieve any wide support.

So, "nerd gag" it is.
