[HacktionLab] Web development language question

I've found a couple of good starts on django,

For some one not used to the idea, the whole shebang of setting up
virtual boxes and virtual environments was a bit of a learning curve but
I'm getting there, and it does make sense.

I'm wondering if anyone else has tips for learning django / python,
resources etc.
