Hi HacktionLab

I'm looking to buy a new laptop. I got one a few months ago which
really didn't play nicely with Linux - I managed to sell that one on
to my brother, but don't think I can afford to make the same mistake
again. And, for me, getting the bloody thing to work is not half the
fun of Linux :-)

I've done lots of searching, and the more I search the more I get
confused. Has anybody got some top tips of what to look for and how to
find if it will play nicely with Linux?

Ideally I hope to run Debian, but would go for Ubuntu if that's easier
- - any advice on this?

At the moment, I'm looking at maybe getting the Lenovo ThinkPad B5400
Laptop -

any views on this or better laptops?

Many thanks
