Provocative debate and discussion where Dave Douglass (trade unionist,
miners historian and writer) and Alex Randall (UK Climate Change and
Migration Coalition) battle out their positions, chaired by
artist-activist-curator Kooj Chuhan. Dave has strong and well
researched arguments around the political suppression of coal mining and
questions why we are importing coal right now instead of allowing it to
be mined here with much less climate impact, while Alex will look at how
migration will impact work patterns globally as a result of climate
change and how this might affect the UK. There will also be a guided
tour of the art works on show at the Miners' Hall.

*Sunday 28th June, 4.30pm-6.30pm* at Miners' Hall, Redhills, Durham DH1
