Hi All,

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for an excellent
BarnCamp; I would proffer the best ever as far as getting the balance
right between structure and things running on time vs having a great
social time and a good laugh. I also think it was the best so far as
everyone getting involved, sharing the load and making it a truly DIY
event that we were all involved in shaping. A pleasure to have been
involved and work and socialise with all those of you who came.

Great that already we have stuff going up online, and let's do more of
this. Documentation after the event has always been a bit of a weak
point for us, so keep your stuff coming to the list, on the wiki, or by
emailing to barncamp2015 at hacktionlab.org

We should have some videos of the sessions available soon courtesy of

Finally there were proposals flying around about doing stuff in the
future. Certainly an urban HacktionLab gathering in the autumn would be
a good one, and there's suggestions for doing it in Edinburgh, Bristol
and Bradford. Someone was also mentioning to me about a BarnCamp Social
next year, which just involved camping and cider.....

I'll be cashing up in a few days and will let the list know the outcome
on that front and should do a follow-up email to everyone who attended.

Anyway, once again, nice one us!
