Hi Sean
I got it working on Mint 17.3 (which is basically Ubuntu 14.04) using
the compiler from here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/open-cobol/files/gnu-cobol/2.0/gnu-cobo
l-2.0_rc-2.tar.gz/download
To build that successfully, I first did this:
> sudo apt install build-essential libgmpxx4ldbl libgmp-dev
libdb6.0-dev libdb6.0 libtinfo-dev libncurses5-dev
then I followed the instructions in the GNU COBOL readme
then I followed the instructions in the BAMS readme for a monolithic bui
