In terms of sharing the workload, as clara discussed
A community run server running discourse instances would be a good
resource if people didn't want to off load comments / discussion to the
corporates via embedding disqus or similar.

There's already a docker image
https://github.com/discourse/discourse_docker

I'm not volunteering personally mind, I'm just interested in tactics
delivering non corporate web presence in partnership with others.
