I can't really give any more advice than that.

Seems technology hasn't advanced much in that respect in the past 20 
years? When gmail famously boasted it never deleted any emails even when 
users thought they were deleting their emails ? Turned out no IT company 
could guarantee they would 'completely' and 'securely' delete any data 
since technology seemed focused on always being able to recover 
seemingly deleted files?
