There's also movim, but it seems quieter than diaspora, but maybe

Diaspora is getting there, but that's the problem - critical mass
will take a long time to achieve.<br>
Personally, Diaspora is my network of choice, but feature-wise, it's
like facebook from 10 years ago.<br>
