Mastodon has potential i guess. I've not used it yet.<br />
There's also movim, but it seems quieter than diaspora, but maybe
I'm just not using it enough.<br />

Diaspora is getting there, but that's the problem - critical mass
will take a long time to achieve.<br />
Personally, Diaspora is my network of choice, but feature-wise, it's
like facebook from 10 years ago.<br />
