<p>Hello Hacktivists</p>
<p>There is much enthusiasm for a 2019 Barncamp - so we have
decided to go ahead! <br>
</p>
<p>Highbury Farm are happy to host it from the 19th to 24th of June.
Save the date! <br>
</p>
<p>We are going to need all hands on deck to make this happen, even
more so than usual as we have started rather late in the year. <br>
</p>
<p>As you all know Barncamp is a self-organised event, apart from
outside catering (sometimes) and (some) facilities kindly provided
for us by Highbury farm, it is pretty much a DIY event. So
whatever you can volunteer to do, either during the event or, even
better, in advance, will make a huge difference.</p>

is there anything you are interested in helping with? Don't worry
if no-one else has volunteered for that thing yet, we are still at
the stage of sorting out who wants to do what, and hopefully
working groups will start to form. <br>

an account. Otherwise just post in this list about what you want
to do, and someone will add it.<br>

<p>We are committed to non-hierarchical, autonomous working so
groups will each take responsibility for their chosen task. Of
course you are always encouraged to ask for help and advice from
people who have done similar tasks in previous years though!
That's how the magic happens. For non-trivial decisions that
affect the whole group we will decide by consensus, which is a
wonderful thing that you can read about <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/seeds-for-change-consensus-decision-making">here</a>
if you are not already familiar. I'm hoping to get an online tool
for that up and running this week.<br>
