<!DOCTYPE html><html><head><title></title><style type="text/css">p.MsoNormal,p.MsoNoSpacing{margin:0}</style></head><body><div>Hi HacktionLab!<br></div><div><br></div><div>I've been introduced to your work through someone on Mastodon when I was looking for UK tech events with a DIY/sustainability/activism ethos.<br></div><div><br></div><div>I've not been to a festival like this before and would love to attend either way, but I'd also be really interested to present a talk on how a few years ago I tried to build a utopian social network and how and why it didn't work out. A sort of postmortem of an attempt to create kinder, DIY spaces online. Some of the problems I encountered were social, some were technical, some were personal - and I also made a number of wonderful friends through the attempt.
