<DIV style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; COLOR: rgb(51,51,51); FONT-SIZE: 12px">El crimen ocurrió el lunes 01 de noviembre en Perú, en un barrio de la localidad Los Olivos. Estefanía Leceras se encontraba junto a su hermano y un amigo, cuando comenzó a ser agredida e insultada por su apariencia. “Chica que se vestía como hombre”, relata el diario local “El Ojo” para explicar a qué se refiere cuando habla de “su apariencia”. Estefanía era lesbiana, ésta era la situación incómoda para su asesino; ella no se comportaba ni lucía como se espera que  “una mujer” lo haga.<BR><BR>Las agresiones verbales se transformaron en pedradas contra Estefanía y sus amigos y, finalmente,  en una persecución que terminó cuando la joven de 21 años fue acuchillada en su pierna por Giancarlo Farías Carrasco, de 24 años. Esta herida causó su muerte.<BR><BR>Actualmente el asesino se encuentra prófugo. La familia de
 Estefanía exige justicia, pero la visibilidad del caso es opacada por el tratamiento sensacionalista de los “grandes” medios, donde la lesbofobia no es la causa por la que Estefanía fue asesinada, sino su “apariencia”; tal es el caso del sitio web trome.pe que tituló: “Confunde a mujer con un hombre y la mata”, casi justificando primero un crimen, y luego la lesbofobia. <BR><BR>En ésta sociedad heteropatriarcal la única forma de ser lesbiana que se tolera es la construida en función de los deseos masculinos, las lesbianas que no desafían la femineidad, sino que cumplen fantasías de otros. Estefania no representaba a ese estereotipo y su desobediencia al mandato social le costó la vida. Ningún medio denunció esto, y es que ellos, son los principales productores y legitimadores de las identidades socialmente acepatadas.</DIV></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></SPAN></DIV></BLOCKQUOTE></td></tr></table><br>
