<p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt; "><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap; ">Chileense studenten zijn op het moment hard aan het strijden voor hun recht op onderwijs. In deze protesten word nog vaak de naam van Pinochet genoemd,  de voormalige dictator van het land. Waarom? Wat heeft deze man die al meer dan 20 jaar geleden vertrokken is te maken met de huidige problemen in het land? Tijdens de tweedelige Basta! bijeenkomsten wordt dit duidelijk gemaakt. Op 6 oktober wordt de film ‘The battle of Chile: Part one “The Insurrection of the Bourgeoisie”’ vertoond die meer informatie geeft over de politieke geschiedenis van Chili. Een week later, op 12 oktober is er een infoavond over de huidige situatie waarbij Jan de Kievid en Maurino Alarcón (Solidariteitscomité Chili, Tentempiés) komen vertellen over Chili.</span></p>
