Dear friend,
Thank you for signing our petition to stop supermarket power at Kingston Green Fair last May. Please accept my apologies for not getting in touch with you sooner; the petition has been very successful, with thousands of people signing up across the UK, so it has taken us a long time to upload all the details!
War on Want’s Supermarkets and Sweatshops campaign War on Want is challenging the corporate culture and government policy that abuse workers' rights and keeps them in poverty.
We have published ground-breaking research into supermarkets' exploitation of their suppliers, and work in partnership with grassroots organisations around the world who directly support these workers. The time to end supermarket abuse is now.
For more information on our campaign, including how British supermarkets are involved in exploiting people in the fashion and flower industries, please click here http://www.waronwant.org/Supermarkets202620Sweatshops+15928.twl
