Hi folks,

17th is ok for me, but best if everyone there, is the
18th possible, or I could do the picnic on the 25th if
everyone stayed there a bit later as I'm only busy
then from about 2 till 4 at Conway Hall and could head
to Greenwich after, and went to pub. 26th is out. I'm
at another picnic the next weekend I think (need to
confirm, its the first weekend in June, which is a bit
vaguer this year). Later is possible but the summer
might be over by then!

I can attend meal next Saturday, where is it?
Sorry to have missed you all last Saturday, I was
fighting to stay awake by the evening, after working
all day and not getting much sleep, and I don't
remember reading Holborn in the first email :)) Just
remember being told there was a Thai restaurant in
Islington? Tried to relocate by Tube (bus would have
demanded too much concentration, for right stop, than
I was then capable of!) But found there's still no
tube interchange for Central Line at Bank, so went
home...

and I had the idea of a picnic as a change from the
Saturday evening curries.

Terry proposes to meet at the entrance to Blackheath
(opposite the southern gate of
Greenwich Park), Jayne proposes the Wilderness in
Greenwich Park for our picnic,
and Terry suggests The Wetherspoons pub, Gate Clock,
210 Creek Road, Greenwich,
SE10 if it rains or, if it doesn't rain, for an
apres-picnic.

It remains to settle on a time and date!

I guess an afternoon would be better than an evening
so what times suit people -
2pm? 3pm? 4pm? 5pm or what?

As to a Saturday, what about next Saturday 17th May,
or 7 June or 28 June? Are any
of those three Saturdays any good for you?

NB: As to Saturday 24 May, how about meeting up in
Kingston on Bank Holiday
Monday 26 May INSTEAD of Saturday 24 May. This is
because Kingston Green
Fayre is on the Monday and perhaps we could meet up
for dinner in Kingston
afterwards. Maybe Volodya knows of somewhere we could
eat that night.
What do you think?

RSVP anyone who's interested in any of the above and,
in the case of the
picnic, please let everyone know what dates you can
make and what time
of day you prefer.
