The Bentham Lecture 2008: Terrorism, Torture and Human Rights, by Jonathan Glover

The British Humanist Association, the Humanist Philosophers' Group and University College London are pleased to invite you to the 2008 Bentham Lecture. 2008 is the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which has given us the theme for this year’s Bentham Lecture – the fifth lecture to be held. Professor Jonathan Glover will speak on ‘Terrorism, Torture and Human Rights’ at UCL Archaeology Lecture Theatre, Gordon Square, London WC1 on Thursday 27th November at 6.30pm. 


Attendance at the lecture is free but those wishing to attend should call the British Humanist Association on 020 7079 3580 or email on info at humanism.org.uk to reserve their place.
