Free Event

Ted Walker-Brown - a veteran of the Gay Liberation Front (GLF) and co-founder of
Black Lesbian and Gays against Media Homophobia - will speak about his
experiences as an out, black man involved in the GLF in the early 70's, the
campaign against murder music, and researching lesbian and gay history.

There will be time for lots of questions, and discussion. And for you to share
your thoughts, stories, experiences and ideas about challenging racism and
reclaiming our queer history.

We hope the event will be a space to further conversations about race, racism
and anti-racism in queer (and LGBT) activist spaces and communities, move
forward understanding of racism and stimulate anti-racist activity in these
spaces and communities.

At the Unite building,
