[matilda] Lost Film Fest in Sheffield

Fabian,

I'm not being paranoid.

1. We don't have the consensus of the group to start sending out
publicity material announcing the opening of a 'new social centre in
Sheffield's cultural industries quarter' - that goes against what was
decided at the meeting on 19th June.

2. This isn't about 'openness' - we're already discussing this on a
mailing list that anyone with access to the internet can come and look
at. Seeking publicity is a different thing to being open. 'News' is
about what is 'new' - if we get the Star to do a two page article
about this fantastic new social centre now, they won't do another one
in two months time when we actually have more concrete plans that have
the consensus of everyone involved and are being implemented. That's
why I suggest we continue to be completely open, but don't actively
seek publicity for MATILDA yet.

Does that make sense?
