I don't think they are demanding enough, of course lower
fares and more frequent services would be good but what
would really make a dent on car usage would be free public
transport... 

Would anyone else me interested in forming a "Free public
transport" bloc on the demo... (well making a couple of
placards at least...)? 

Perhaps we could even knock together a leaflet together
putting the case for free public transport...
