[matilda] Urban Regeneration

The idea of the show is to create a dialogue about a space and its
place within the environment.

Most things have opposites, the opposite to Decay is Regeneration

the idea of the 'Work' being about Decay is that it will then be
placed with in an old semi derelict building that is in the process of
being regenerated while the building itself exists with in an area
that is being culturally and physically regenerated. thus, hopefully
creating a discourse about the Old and New, the young and old about
decay and regeneration. and how these themes work in a city centre.
the Matilda Building is a prime example of regeneration.

The idea isn't to show Matilda as a crumbling old building but a space
with a hart and soul with warmth and history in an otherwise soulless
surrounding.
