There was some talk of a SWAN action on this but there is the feeling that 
if it is just a private do with no press attendance there would be little 
point. There would just be the converted there (people wanting to go see 
Blunkett) and Blunkett himself will be doubtless shuttled quietly in under 
cover of terrorism. 

There was talk of a leaflet being drafted. Some victorian back to the 
workshouse costumes or maybe poetry stuff. The main problem for us is 
resources and time to put something good together. We'd rather wait for a 
good opportunity (and when we've got ourselves together after the 
conference) than look ineffective. That said, SWAN isn't the only animal in 
town so all ideas good.
