Nowhere near enough though. There are apparently still 860,000 empty
properties in the UK.

This could be a big problem, esp for landlords who won't be able to
find anyone to rent their properties off them anymore.

The solution? Board them all up, knock 'em down, add alarms, evict
people more quickly, criminalise squatting, and get people paying the
high rents that our society needs to pay other people's mortgages.
