I thought the idea of a facilitator was just to co-ordinate the meeting 
and keep
some vague notion of control? As consensus for any decision has to be achieved
by the whole group does it really matter what the individual facilitator's
views are? I would think anyone with basic chairman-like skills should be able
to fulfil the role adequately, whether part of the group of not.

This leads me onto another question - at what point does someone become a
'member?' The very nature of the collective makes this very hard to determine.

These comments are just food-for-thought and are not aimed at anyone. Reading
between the lines of the MATILDA lists there seems to be a lot of paranoia
floating around!
