"a DIY not for profit collective of women and men who like to put on and attend rocking events and give support to each other in resisting the evil capitalist boy rock trash trend that is other 'alternative' music scenes." </FONT><A href="http://www.manifesta.co.uk/manifesta_says_get_involved.htm"><FONT size=2>http://www.manifesta.co.uk/manifesta_says_get_involved.htm</FONT></A><FONT size=2> to put on a one-off version of their sucessful club night 'Pussy Whipped' at Matilda. They do play some good stuff. I think. At least they did about three years ago at the only one I ever went to... I would see to all the promotional side of this. But does anybody know where a decent soundsystem can be found?</FONT></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=2>I called around at the centre today and the caretaker was looking happy! Thank you caretaker for err... taking care of our magnificent building. A couple of Common-Place types were with me- they were very impressed, our centre is much bigger than theirs...</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=2>What I would like to see (and I could have a go when I'm feeling at a peak as far as my writing goes, as I go up and down in that area) is just a single paragraph, or two, which explains what the Matilda social centre is, what our aims and motivations are, and a call out for others to join us. The kind of paragraph that fits onto a flyer or a poster. Any takers?</FONT></P>
