Hey Guys,

Also posted this as a topic in we-eat-monash group but here it is for those
of you who don't check the group activity.
Some of you may know Pat, he's been around the Monash Permaculture Garden a
bit. He's got an awesome initiative that he's undertaking and needs some
willing hands to help at a WORKING BEE THIS SUNDAY. I unfortunately ca't be
there because of work commitments but I strongly encourage you to contact
him and get involved.

Cheers heaps,

Ihaka
(Isaac Marsh)

 Hi everyone!

This coming Sunday the 28th of November we will be putting on a huge working
bee out on the Co-op site. This is a really great opportunity to come to
work on the property, meet some of our members and also some people new to
the Co-operative that are getting involved for the first time. We are
expecting a fair turnout even at this stage, with a few members of the
Monash Permaculture Garden, perhaps EWB members and other friends having
already expressed their interest in attending this weekend. This is great
because we have a lot to do!

We will be focusing on work on the vegie garden and orchard (planting more
vegies, harvesting?, re-mulching, digging new beds, fertilising, relabelling
fruit trees, re-tying/staking and weed control). Also, for those interested
we will be continuing our discussion on the shed (using sustainable
materials), and on the driveway/crossover + carpark. This is in preparation
for a likely mid-December working bee to start on these tasks.

Lunch at 12pm and a general meeting at 1pm until 3pm will also occur as per
usual, please let the group know whether or not you are attending this
Sunday. It is important that you let us know because Gayle will be so
generously providing lunch for us and needs to be able to cater for you. We
also would like to get an idea of numbers in advance.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone and getting out on the site to do
some more work, especially since we did not have a meeting last month!

Can’t wait! I hope to see you soon, Pat.

(My email has been temporarily restricted from me by Monash due to an
enrolment mistake, so Gayle and Isaac sent this for me).

MPG and EWB members: please contact Pat on 0439 343 107; transport from and
back to Clayton may be able to be arranged.

Community Healthfulness Co-operative meets at 79 Old Healesville Rd, Yarra
Glen.
