Fancy some top-up training before cliamte camp? Those very lovely  
people from Northern Action Medics [you'll aready have met some of  
them :-)] are doing a training to get everyone ready for Climate Camp.

On another note, are you planning on medicing at CC? I know I am, and  
a couple of other people are. Should we be co-ordinating? Should we  
have a meeting? Or do it on list?

5. Action Medic Training

The Northern Action Medics are running a 2 1/2 day street medic
training on the 14th - 16th of August in London. This is a 20 hour
course that will teach you the basics of general First Aid, as well as
skills to deal with medical situations specific to direct action, such
as dealing with chemical weapons and the police. The course will   involve
scenarios and hands-on practice and, although we cannot offer   you any
official accreditation, the 2 1/2 day training (plus CPR   training) is
the minimum standard to work with the Action Medics, and   will equip you
for a wide range of situations, from hypothermia to   baton wounds.

There will be 3 or 4 hours on Friday evening and two full days on
Saturday and Sunday. We are not charging to do this training but any
donations towards our travel would be greatly
