Subject: [Cc-medics] 3 day street medic training in Bradford on the 9th,
10th and 11th of October

Hi,
The Northern Action Medics are running a 3 day street medic training on the
9th 10th and 11th of October in Bradford. This training will cover the
basics of general First Aid (including CPR), as well as skills to deal with
medical situations specific to direct action, such as dealing with chemical
weapons and the police. The training involves scenarios and hands-on
practice and is intended to be fun as well as useful! Completing this
training will equip you to look after yourself and your mates in a wide
range of situations, from hypothermia to baton wounds.

It will run from approx. 10am til 6pm each day and lunch, drinks and snacks
will be provided. People need to come for the whole training so crash space
is available from thursday night. We estimate the cost of the training will
be between £15 and £25 (this depends on costs and how many people come) and
you can book your place with a £10 deposit. No-one will be turned away
because of lack of cash but could you let us know if you need to pay less
when booking.
Email cupofambition (at) hotmail.com to book a place. Please forward this to
any people or lists you think might be interested but do not mention it on
social networking sites.
Look forward to seeing you there!
