back in the day,when i was a founding member of loosely defined multi
sexual reclaim the streets culture jamming group in tel aviv called
queerhana ,who under its guise as "activism "dutifly created an event
every bnd.but in the last one your humble servant got fed up with the 
zelotry of thumping the evils of consummerism to the disintrested  shoping
masses ,and alot of the rhetoric that whiffed of puritanical anti pleasure
ethics that we were repeating out of some rich gezer's book anyway, and
tried instead to endorse together with a handfull of others  a "steal
something day"action ,in the spirit of yomango! (spanish art group that
intentionaly steals from coorporations as acts of geurrilla civil
disobidience,under the motto: "reclaim desire").

 now ,dont get me wrong,i think it is crucial to bring to the public's
attention that possibly 99.9 percent of their desires are alien implants
(so to speak....)that would make Goebles smile,but if to be real one
artificial day of observance in the midst of it all creats ethical
dilemas such as :"yes but i have take the tube to get to the protest"
and: but then what about tommorow when i have get up in the morning and go
to tesco'e\sailsbury\asda\the local free trade grocer..ext..to buy  bread
and (soy?)milk  all over again?
hmmmmmmmmmmmm
untill we can smash it all to peices in our lifetime(cus we know there
might not be too many left after we go),more "militant "aproaches such as
replacing objects from the hands of those who stole them in the first
place
 to   communall sharing  might help transmutate robbed abundance back to
an affirmation of life,do some actuall damage and be a more fun and 
sustainable year round strategy.
but you didnt hear it from me....
