I rememember quite clearly that some of us offered to share the cost of the room with you prior to the event. Also that books (pamphlets) were to be made available to help offset cost.
 
Due to mix up over times i wasn't at the actual talk, as such had no idea whether we had sold pamphlets to cover costs etc. - Or if they were even available.
 
I had simply trusted that you would have let us know how much the event cost after the event so that we could make what contributions we were each able to.
This never happened. 
 
Communication is essential in these matters.
 
To say we ripped you off is damned insulting. 
 
Had you communicated the final cost of the event, after said event, as is normal, we could have contributed as we had already offered to so do.
 
Now this is out in the open perhaps you would like to let everyone know exactly what the event did cost. And give us the opportunity to all share in the cost.
 
This situation demonstrates quite clearly the need for regular meetings. Had these been in place we could have de-briefed following The Anarchist Book Fair event and all this would have been discussed openly and the situation addressed rather than it being kept hidden leading to resentments.
