[pagan-magik] evol request probs

Seems that previous message is redundant as the link
has already been posted by Ian.

It seems the issue is that LARC regarded them as
potential 'agent provocateurs'? And the allegations do
read that way. I think evol is Asim by the way, a
person I've exchanged interesting emails with before
but never met. His friend Fabian is a friend of a
friend of mine, the latter I trust more than anyone
else in the movement, and they say positive things
about him, though the LARC report is of concern. I
know the 'fascistic' Green Anarchist group has dissed
him, though they have also smeared former members of
the LAF with stuff I know for a fact is false. LARC is
usually more reliable though. These two have been
described as 'provocative' and 'hot headed' by others
I trust, which would explain some of the allegations.
And I can respect that more than people who want to
keep NGO's and Trade Unions happy by being nice
liberals (both being part of the 'enemy's' system for
me).

My inclination is to let evol in, after all what can
he do, we arent going to give anyone authority or
allow them to act as spokespeople, and if anyone
suggests something against the consensus they just get
ignored right? So I'm not sure what damage could be
done. This is another good reason for us being a
network of individuals and autonomous groups rather
than a collective, no?

Given the allegations I wouldn't feel safe with such a
person as a moderator though! Until proven kosher.

I've emailed evol informing him that I'm willing to
take him at face value, but that the issue will need
to be discussed on the list. If people want to cc
these postings to him feel free (I haven't).
