attending the funeral want to bring something to throw into the
grave, they can & there will bright ribbons around the coffin and
people can also attach a message or object to it at the Church---a
bit like a Tibetan Prayer flag! </font>

instruments to the send off, tambourines, cymbals, prayer bells
etc...& chanting to accompany Fraser on the way...</font></h4>

Psychologist & Evolutionary, 1943 - 2009</font></h1>

great dies, they say the whole world suffers and when its also a
personal friend, sorrow and loss are added to the worldwide pain.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099"> </font>
</h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099">Fraser Clark was
born and grew up around Glasgow, Scotland. He attended Glasgow
University, where he attained an MA Honors degree in psychology.
There was not much happening in that little big city then and so he
took off on the road. </font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099">Here is a little
bit about that journey.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099"> </font>
</h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099">A devoted student
of GG.I Gurdjieff & Krishnamurti in his youth, it was Gurdjieff
whose work and ideas underpinned much of his spiritual journey and
quest.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099">LSd& the
sixties saw Fraser on the hippy trail, travelling the world from
India to North & South America, out of which came his first
fruits - two novels, SHAZAM, and NEW WORLD TRIPS - both dealing with
consciousness in action.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099"> </font>
</h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099">In the 80s his
magazine EPI achieved international recognition,accurately predicting
a return of Mass Consciousness Raising. His concept of he ZIPPY, a
new balanced lifestyle for the 90s was aimed at saving the planet by
raising personal consciousness;from this emerged its super sister
EVOLUTION, which became the flagship for the globalizing conscious
party RAVE GENERATION.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099"> </font>
</h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099">Then came his
evolution label's album SHAMANARCHY IN THE UK, with Terence McKenna &
Timothy Leary on board, paving the way in 1995 for his big move into
dance culture -MEGATRIPOLIS - The Future -Perfect State!</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099">His club @
heaven, which has inspired a thousand imitators, is perhaps his most
enduring legacy.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099">Unless it was The
ZIPPY PRONOIA TOUR TO THE US, where he led a band of zippies across
the USA, warning them that Rave Culture was their last chance for
peace!</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099">Back in the UK
came the legendary 24 hour WARP EXPERIENCE, THE DEN OF </font>
</h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099">ENLIGHTENMENT and
THE NEW HUMAN BE-IN, that was linked to the original San Francisco SUMMER
OF LOVE.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099"> </font>
</h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#990099">Always
experimental...</font></h4>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;" /><h1 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#800080">FRASER CLARK -

<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#800080">Always
experimental & two monkey steps ahead, he has surfed the 3rd
millennium with his radical
/spiritual/political e-magazine the UP!</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#800080">Fraser died on
the 21st Feb, 2009 of liver cancer. A close friend Sionaidh was
near-by & she was giving him a massage at the time & she was
called to the phone, and on returning found him dead, slumped forward
in he Lotus position, which he had kept up all night (something he
was adept at). Sion then called me & twenty minutes later I was
over by his bed. He was a little bent forward & so we gently
placed him back & covered him with a Tibetan Jacket a close
friend had given him. We then lit a candle and incense, said a prayer
& played for him on CD, the aural version of THE TIBETAN BOOK OF
THE DEAD.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#800080">We then called
the doctor who came half an hour later and confirmed it.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#800080">Fraser is
survived by his two brothers, his son, and a thousand loving friends.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#800080">Fraser and I
shared each others lives for over forty years , as young men, as
adults - and we remained & retained our friendship over two
revolutions -the sixties & the nineties and considered ourselves
blessed to have played a part in it.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#800080">I know he gave it
every inch of his Soul.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#800080">One of the last
things Fraser said to me was, pronounced in a mildly sardonic tone,</font>
<font color="#ff00ff">‘Jimmy, listen to this...’</font> <font color="#ff00ff">and
also mildy sniggering... 'Dying it's not
the end of the world' ‘I want that on my gravestone!’</font><font color="#800080">
And we burst out roaring with laughter, -nice one man!</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#800080">So be it, old
Buddy.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#800080">And then he
added, shrugging, 'I'm not afraid of death, just don't want one of
those slow painful things, I just want to go fast, if it comes to
that. I wasn't shocked either when they told me the news, just mildly
surprised, that's all'.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#800080">That's all.</font></h4>
<h4 style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><font color="#800080">Hark, pixie
bells, dancing in the bluebell woods ( Fraser’s favourite flower),
gurgling laughter and a great roaring welcome from on HIGH! HIGH!</font></h4>
