Hi

I didn't make it to the meeting on Sunday.  It was scheduled for 1pm so you probably wouldn't have seen anyone at 2.45 (if anyone was there at 1pm at all?!)  


I will be coming this Sunday, 1pm London Fields Playground near Pub on the Park.

What time is sunday meeting?

I tried to come last week... but couldn't find anyone. Thought it was London Field near the play ground at 2... but I was there at about 2.45, and couldn't see anyone.

Anyway, mostly just wanted to say hi.


Filming radical cake baking this sunday... so unlikely to make it, but will try.

Hi everyone,Finally came back from france yesterday - apologies for not being in touch at all, been difficult to access a pc.

Among other essential things, we need a table !! Large plank of cheap timber & a few bricks could do the trick. Any idea where to get this ?

On other fronts:- i'm trying to get some cash from finance so we can shop for stuff we need. Hopefully
 could do this on Monday. Anyone has any idea best place to go ? Or wants to do it, on their own or with me ?- On the transport side: still very much in the dark, as london transport coordinator still isn't getting back to me. I have a feeling they're struggling enough to arrange their own transport. I'll try calling various people tomorrow. Otherwise might be good to think of a plan B. Know anyone with a car/van ? We could perhaps stretch the budget to at least cover petrol costs.
- On the marquee side: 35ft round tent will not make it i'm afraid. We'll have to make do with a 30 x 30 ft square marquee - could be worse...

Other news:- New cc
 website up and running - kids workshop program & blurbs up on it.- Offers of help are coming in. Two definite volunteers for Friday & Saturday. I'm sure we'll get more !

Did anyone actually make the meeting last sunday - have Gemma's other questions (below) been discussed ?
I'll be coming on Sunday, anyone else plans to ?

hi sorry i cant make the meeting now either :(

if someone is going then please bring up these points:

- for us all to meet up before we go onsite for group strengh and
solidarity and maybe form affinitys between us lot

- to find out where n when to drop stuff off for the van (normal play
stuff and also essenitial tool/kit stuff)
- things like 2 tables/superglue/scissors/hacksaw/5
 potato
peelers/tarps/polyprop twine rope/carpets etc have we got these and can
they be taken in?
- i have enough playdoh for 5 kids, and a parachute (£7.50 to ask from the
kitty)
- have we found a zine printer?

- we need info fliers for the collective
- is the original name 'radical childcare collective' gonna stay, and it
would be good tohave a workshop at the close of camp on 'what is radical
childcare anyway?' and for as many of us to attend as poss.
