Cool Emel, will probably see you at FRP next wednesday or just let me know where you've put the bag and I can add new finds to it until we take it to where the rest of our tat will be stored.
Re bikes, I'm waiting for a reply from Bicycology, who provided the 'bike library' last year. But it's definitely worth speaking to the walthamstow bike workshop people to see if we could get an extra supply on loan, are you happy to do this emel ?

Radical Childcare collective, I hope you're all happy with all these climate camp kidspace practicalities being discussed on the list ? If not, i do apologize, do say it and we could perhaps set another list specifically for this ?

I've thrown in a few more things to the wishlist...

What we've got so far

- outdoor chalks for walls, pavements etc.
- lots of wooden "jenga" blocks
- Boggle (a words and letters game, mostly for older kids)
- lots of good ideas and energy!
- wooden sticks, pine cones, cotton thread and sewing kit
- merino tops (wool for felt) I have a big bag of this at home but will have to charge a fee for what I bring, it won't be much as we will use it scarcely - just need to know Anaelle if that's ok to include in budget ?

 - tons of 'recycled' (used on one side) paper for artwork
- unlimited supply of cardboard boxes

What we need/want

- packs of playing cards
- blankets
- old material, everything from from small scraps to HUGE pieces!
- non-toxic child friendly paints
- non-toxic child friendly clay
- flour, salt, oil and powder paints or food colouring to make our own playdough
- paddling pool
- water tray
- lots of clean, child friendly sand
- a sandpit (or we can make one)
- silk scarves for learning to juggle with
- Lots of "junk" for making things e.g. cardboard boxes, yogurt pots, toilet rolls, cereal boxes etc. = I am collecting some cardboard for puppets
- pipe cleaners

- PVA glue
- scissors
- a parachute
- kids bikes
- baby toys
- string and rope of all thicknesses
- small spades for digging up earth
- face paints
 + loads more!
A few books ?
Couple of tables/surfaces to store stuff on
Pretty fabric/cloths... to cover strawbales & generally make the space cosy
Some sort of floor covering ? at least for part of the space
Jars & Candles for possible collective evening story-telling ?
A couple of old pushchairs & slings for a 'child transport library' ??

hello all,

read the emails in one go, huh, what an energy :)) its nice to see things moving along so fast... sorry for not coming along to the meeting but im going to turkey till mid september in two weeks time and wont be here for CC, but ill be looking forward to come back :))

as for the stuff needed: FRP (forest recycling project) in walthamstow is an amazing place for that, i will be there next wednesday and can arrange a bag (or bags) of stuff, not sure what will be available at the time, and maybe arrange the collection of it with Anaelle?

and regarding the kids bikes, i can check it with bike recycling scheme in walthamstow but normally they sell the bikes, maybe we can ask if they can lend some and the bikes can go back after CC?

love to all,
e.
