hey guys,

I wont be able to make it on Monday, but I thought that one or two of you
might be interested in something I found out last weekend at the Climate
Camp national gathering - which is that there currently isn't anyone who's
stepped forward to do the kids space.

Anyone interested in getting involved in Climate Camp? I can't imagine a
better opportunity to hone your radical childcare skills! I can make some
introductions if you want.

Emily

> Children are a vital part of our movement, but are often not included in
> our organising. Parents are left out because of lack of child care,
> meetings being held in inaccessible locations at inaccessible times and
> because they are devalued by members of our 'activist' communities.
>
> Children can be vibrant, creative, inspiring and clever. They often have
> less hang ups and self-policing than adults, and have played a crucial
