Thanks for doing the minutes Gemma. i'll set up another doodle for the
next meeting. i can get us some free photocopying, but would need the
finished text by Thursday night/ Friday morning early. I could also do
on-line collaboration on the questionaire, but am really busy so would not
be able to meet up, can do phone though.
I really like the mission statement, and also think pro-kid is a good way
to describe us.
Also lcap are having a workshop on opposing the welfare reform bill at the
bookfair which is something we've spoken about doing something about. Its
on at 12.

>> ACTION: gemma to contact and see what came out of that meeting
>>
>> 3.We then thought about what radical childcare means to us and wrote
>> down
>> some thoughts on what this group is about to us:

>> and non-carers.
>> - challenging isolation of parents
>> -integration
>> -to formulate strategies to enable paretns and carers to organise
>> autonomously against the state/institutional/cultural oppression (these

>> -not specifically about 'anarchism' or 'activism' (as they can be

>> -discussed 'radical' and 'autonomous'
>>
>> 4.We then played a short name game where we wrote down a few

>> 'pro-fem', we could term ourselves as a 'pro-kid collective' (eg. not
>> essentially made up of kids/a kids collective but we are pro-kid at our
>> core).
>>
>> As far as I remember (and I dont have minutes for this part of the
>> meeting) we didnt put the words above into a sentence/name. So I will do
>> a
>> quick one now so people get an idea of what I mean:
>>
>> 'We are a collective of child-friendly people organising for the

>> inclusion and autonomy of parents and kids. We want to create a
>> revolutionary network promoting pro-kid organising and activism, not
>> just
>> within anarchist/radical groups but also within our wider communities'
>>
>> We talked about the name 'London Radical Pro-Kid Collective' (LRPKC), or
>> just 'Radical Pro-kid Collective' (RPC or RPKC).
>>
>> What do others in the group think about the 'ethos/mission statement'
>> above? Does anyone else have important words/phrases to add? What do
>> others in the group think about the term 'Pro-kid'?
>>
>> 5. Cant remember anything else from meeting right now, but will email if
>> I
>> do, I think this was most of it though.
>>
>> 6.Oh yeah, next meeting to doodle. please remeber with the doodle that
