[Radical_childcare] save hackney nursery petition: final push

hi all,

as the organising for the deputation for friends of hackney nurseries (more
on this to follow soon) starts to get more sorted:
just thought i would let people know that we have 175 signatures on-line /
165 approx on paper = 340!!!!
which is great for a campaign started a two months ago with no resources -
and being run by busy nursery workers, community activists and parents
and there are a few bundles still to come in (a big thanks to tom and carl
for taking the time to do petitioning in the last week)

it would be great if we could aim to get to 500 - by the time we hand in the
deputation.
so that means --

1) can people please send the on-line petition to their friends and family
http://www.petitiononline.com/fhn/petition.html

2) if people have time -- can they get signatures for the petition by
leafleting the nurseries
it is a great way of talking to people about the campaign
n.b. nik will send a new leaflet to the list this afternoon.
let us know which nurseries you can do -- that way we can keep track and
make sure we spread ourselves around.
