against coal – the key culprit of climate change. It has been called by
Climate Camp and other Direct Action groups at the coal-fired power station at
Ratcliffe-on-Soar near Nottingham. Hundreds
of activists and campaigners from all over the UK will converge on the power

joining the <b><span style="font-weight: bold;">FOOTSTEPS TO THE FUTURE</span></b>
bloc. This is a Direct Action demonstration that is not organised with the police
so please note we cannot guarantee what the atmosphere of the demonstration
will be like, or how things may turn out on the day. The mission of the bloc,
though, will be to present <i><span style="font-style: italic;">our</span></i>
positive vision of a fossil-fuel-free future outside the power station gates.
Those keen to do so may stay for the night outside the Power station, but you
can also come just for the day. Efficient and renewable, this bloc will be a
space to show the solutions - from bike powered sound systems to solar showers,
come, conceive and create!</span></font><font size="3" face="Times New Roman"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"></span></font></p>
