the older kids space. I am just emailing to see if you are still interested in being involved, and to ask about what kind of things you could offer help with or do with the kids.
Your group statement sounds great and like you are exactly the kind of people we need to help get involved!

At the moment the older kids space is just being run by two committed parents. They get the occasional comrade popping in to help for an hour or two, but it would be good to get more structured help to develop the space more and get more people involved to support them in this.

It would be great if groups or individuals can organise specific activities to develop with the older kids. One thing we have talked about is the possibility of the kids making a video of the bookfair , to be edited and put together possibly for the website. I was not involved in the discussions around this last year so am not sure whether this idea came from you and this is already something you have said you would be interested in? But either way, if this is something you wuld be up for at this years bookfair, please get in touch to let us know your thoughts on how this could be done. Alternatively, if you are not able to work on tis particular activity but have any other ideas for activities your group could take on to do with the older kids, please let us know.

Also, on a wider scale, we were thinking about the possibility of trying to set up a small sub group/working
group for the older kids space, to work on ideas to build it up and make it better each year, as well as to help get the
space organised, publicised etc.
I am waiting to hear back from the two people who currently run the space about how they might see but it would be useful to know in theory if you would be interested in getting involved with an ongoing working group on this?

We are having our next bookfair collective meeting in one week, next Thursday 8th April, so if there is any chance of you getting back to me before then with your thoughts on this I would be very grateful

Very many thanks
