Really Open University Digest

So March 26th has been and gone, and you no doubt read our brief report on
it on the website. We'll update when we get info on those arrested,
including the Fortnum and Mason 145. Their campaign details are here:

If you haven't checked it recently the following are the latest articles
we've been giving some attention to:

Notes on the Wisconsin Insurrection: 'If you screw us, we multiply'...a
detailed account of what and why Wisconsin was.

News and updates from the Free Herrington Occupation at Glasgow University
and all it's latest twist and turns.

We've nicked an article on internships and exploitation from The New
Statesman, and, just in case you weren't feeling angry enough about the
whole student fees sheenanigans, we've poste up a list of undergraduate
fees for 2012. No surprises there then.

Dates for your diary:
27th April - ROU Concept Meeting: 'What does it mean to be in, against and
beyond the University?' Time and place tbc. We'll send out message and
recommended reading on announce list.
12th - 13th May, Rome: Euro-mediterranean Happening on Education, Welfare
and New Political Processes'. See website for programme.
Early May: date/time/place tbc! - Roundhouse/ROU Journal Launch.
Also upcoming...open discussions with our friends at The Free
Association. Watch this space...

We'll be having our next ROU business meeting on Tues 19th April at 7pm in
the Packhorse and will be able to confirm all those exciting dates etc
after then.
