[Reallyopenuniannounce] The Cuts

Comrades!
 
 
If you want to stop the cuts then you have to stop the government in their 
tracks.
 
 
I strongly support tomorrow’s march and applaud everyone who wants to express 
their discontent but this is not enough. The only way to do it is to hit them 
where it hurts the most - through the economy. So I will suggest that all the 
public service workers, with the approval of all the relevant unions, go on an 
indefinite national strike. Let’s hit them where it hurts- not through violence 
but through passive resistance.  Bring the economy to a grinding halt and let’s 
show them who’s in charge. It’s the only way. 

 
As Wilde points out in The Soul of Man Under Socialism the state should serve 
the people not act as an instrument of oppression and social surveillance 
rendering us to social dopes. 

 
May I suggest a strike around April, which will coincide with the Royal wedding?
 
Act now!
 
By 2012 it will be too late as the will cuts spread and have impact on lone 
parents, the elderly and the infirmed.
