[Reallyopenuniannounce] Weekly Digest from The Space Project

Welcome to the first weekly digest telling you about upcoming events
at The Space Project! Of course, do still check the website on
www.spaceproject.org.uk  in case events are changed or cancelled.

First up this week is the Open House meeting TONIGHT Monday 21st at
8pm. This is a chance to promote your events and projects, find out
more about us and what we're doing, and have an agreeable time hanging
out chatting. There's been some time confusion over this and you may
have seen 6.30 but that's our business meeting. Oops.

Militant Cinema follows up the next day, Tuesday 22nd at 7.30pm.
Militant Cinema is now a regular event at The Space Project and will
be showing Omricon, which is a light hearted parody of the capitalist
system.

Wednesday is an early start at 5.30 for the Reimagine Education
Reading Group. This is the second of the critical pedagogy events, and
is about engaging critical pedagogy to explore questions about
education and learning.

A couple of days off until a double whammy on Saturday when we are
going to be at Leeds Met for the Reimagine the University Education
Activist Network conference (10 to 5) and also at the Leeds Summat at
Leeds University Union (from 9am. see www.summat.org for timetable and
details). Unable to stay out of the Space for long we'll go back down
to 37-38 Mabgate Green for food and drinks and banner making at the
N30/EAN Leeds social at 6pm.

Another busy one on Sunday when we'll be strolling round town with
Shaun Cohen for the Radical History Walk. Start of at 2.30pm from the
Space and uncover the underground history of our city til about 4pm.
A few hours rest until 7.30 when our friends Occupied London will be
up to talk about the Revolt and Crisis in Greece, and how it can
inform and engage struggle here.
