<div>Dear all,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>March 21-27 is 'climate week' (the artist formerly known as green
week) in leeds university and union. </div>
<div>Last year in green week there were a series of lunchtime
discussions held on various themes which twinned the environment with
another topic (i.e. gender and environment, food and environment) this
year we were hoping to do the same.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I was wondering if there's anyone interested in presenting either <em>'capitalism/consumerism
and the climate'</em> or <em>'cuts and the climate</em>' (the titles
can be edited) in the manner of an informal discussion. You don't need
to have a huge amount of knowledge on the issue but it would be good if
there was someone who could present and introduce the issue and then
open it out to a debate</div>
<div> </div>
<div>If anyone feels up introducing either of these issues that would be
very appreciated. It would be 1-2pm around the union somewhere and
provisional dates are tuesday (22nd) lunchtime for one of these talks
and thursday (24th) for the other, but can be rearranged to another
date in the week if necessary.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>if you fancy it could you please send an email to <a href="mailto:pandpleeds@gmail.com">pandpleeds@gmail.com</a> </div>
<div> </div>
<div>thanks very much,</div>
