Brilliant news about the free marquee!

Less brilliant - Tony from Pizza Pieces rang me this evening to say he's
worried about the weather, and he wants to pay less if it rains.

I sympathised extensively but said that it was the same risk for us and if
it rained we were unlikely to get the £500 in donations we needed - and if
he backed out on us at the last minute we definitely wouldn't ask him back
next year whatever the weather... (I was nice, I'm paraphrasing!)

But just to warn people...

Do you think we should look for backup catering?

He says he's not backing out - he was just looking for a reduction in the
amount...
